One Glendale One Community Mural

The Glendale Central Library is proud and excited to be hosting the debut of the Unity Mural, which will be on display in the lobby for the entire month of May. The 54-foot-long mural was designed and executed entirely by a group of creative and dedicated students at Allan F. Daily High School in connection with the Glendale Sunrise Rotary Club's One Glendale One Community initiative, whose purpose is to celebrate diversity and promote unity in our fair city. One Book / One Glendale - Grandview Display

There is a new display at the Grandview Branch Library that ties into the One Book, One Glendale reading event. The display includes found objects, informational pieces, and various period artifacts including a vintage record player and albums from the 1940s that once belonged to an internee at Manzanar.
