Oprah Picks "Middlesex" As Her Summer Book
Middlesex, Jeffrey Eugenides’s 2003 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, is Oprah Winfrey’s selection for her summer book club. The story of a Greek-American girl who becomes a teenage boy in 1970s Detroit, Middlesex has already sold more than one million copies, according to Nielsen Bookscan, making the title considerably more popular than most books chosen for Oprah’s club. The Library has many copies available. Click on the photo to place your hold now.
